Sheridan Road Residence

When the house was built in the 1980s, the interior was conceived as modern, incorporating furniture with sleek lines in a palette of off-white, grays and black. When a subsequent redo of the interior came about several years ago, the clients expressed an interest in furnishings dating from the early to mid-twentieth century as their art collection had grown and featured works of art by major artists from that period. Having cultivated sources world-wide, we were able to acquire furnishings by several of the French, German and Italian furniture designers from the 1920s through the 1950s. When an appropriate piece could not be found, we developed designs of our own to compliment the antique pieces that had been acquired, enlisting craftsmen throughout the United States to fabricate what was needed to complete the project.
